Process Technology, a leader in the design, innovation and manufacturing of heating equipment, is looking for an engineering and product development leader to promote innovative new products and head the engineering team. S/he will be a member of the Executive Team and report to the Company President. Join the team that makes difficult processes thermally possible!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the strategic technology plan and comprehensive product roadmaps.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers through the New Product Development (NPD) process, from ideation to launch, as well as product customizations and production support.
  • Drive problem resolution and the critical evaluation of Go/Kill decisions at each stage.
  • Direct the creation, maintenance, and management of BOMs, ECNs, drawings, product testing, and the R&D test lab.
  • Establish the annual engineering budget and performance metrics.
  • Ensure clear communication of engineering efforts and projects to the Executive Team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relations with the engineering teams at key customers and OEMs.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in an Engineering field; Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical preferred.
  • Exhibit strong leadership tendencies.
  • Proven track record for timely project delivery, cost control, customer satisfaction, and innovation.
  • Exhibit energy, a strong desire to achieve, dedication, and a high ethical standard.
  • Minimum of 5 years in senior-level equipment engineering role.
  • Minimum of 15 years in new product development engineering.
  • MBA degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience in the development of smart products with internet connectivity and data processing capabilities strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving, analytical and conflict resolution skills in an organized manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to acquire understanding and absorb new information rapidly.
  • Foster high levels of accountability and confidentiality and demonstrate low tolerance for mediocrity.
  • Display excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 15%.

  • Ability to build a high performance sales team through coaching, sales best practice playbooks, and incentives.

Requirements:
