Process Technology is a small company that manufactures fluid heating and cooling equipment for the metal finishing and high purity industries. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work in our products and manufacturing group.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and test fluid heating and cooling equipment.
  • Design, develop, manufacture and test electrical programs and components.
  • Maintain and develop engineering models, prints and bills of materials for production. Work within our MRP system to manage this information.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost reductions in our products and processes.
  • Assist internal departments by providing technical support or tooling as required.
  • Some limited travel for engineering support, training and/or trade shows
Requirements:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D solid modeling program
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, FEA, fluid flow and thermodynamics
  • 1-5 years of engineering experience
  • Project management experience is a plus.

  • Prepare and update designs, drawings, BOMs, and related documentation for engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams.

  • Interface and program PLC/HMI (Automation Direct, Allen Bradley) including design of schematics and electrical cabinets

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related engineering role.
  • Proficient with PLCs, ladder and control logic.

Candidates must have an intimate knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ASTM and SEMI Quality Standards and quality control experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Company products and materials conform to all specifications and customer requirements.
  • Directing/overseeing activities associated with maintaining all company certifications, and all external agency approvals such as ISO 9001:2015 certification.
  • Serve as the interface with customers, vendors, and other third-party organizations on all quality related topics.
  • Authors and/or performs reviews of various user documentation, SOPs, and specifications with clear, precise language and structure.
  • Optimize sampling plans and sampling methods for QC and manufacturing.
  • Leads peers and/or departments in the performance of investigations and resolutions of customer complaints and other root cause investigations that affect the product or process performance.
  • Assure compliance of manufacturing and quality control operations with respect to specifications, SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices/Quality System Regulations, Company Quality Manual, SEMI and other applicable standards and regulations.
  • Perform root-cause analysis, manage and follow up on audit OFIs, CARs, and related document changes.
  • Own and drive the internal audit systems and processes.
  • Report and suggest continuous improvement activities and system discrepancies.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline and 5+ years in a manufacturing quality role.
  • Prior experience in root cause analysis methods (5-why, 8-D etc.) a must.
  • Six Sigma and Project Management Certifications or training is a plus.
  • Understanding and knowledge of various international standards relating to a variety of topics, as needed (ASTM, SEMI, and ISO 9001:2015 required).
  • Strong Quality Management System, Quality principles and mission assurance acumen in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and technical communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Computer proficiency in the Microsoft suite and Minitab (preferred).
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 15%.
