Process Technology, a leader in the design, innovation and manufacturing of heating equipment, is looking for an experienced leader to direct all areas of finance. The responsibilities include but are not limited to all financial statements, annual budgeting, business KPIs, legal compliance, accounting, taxation and contract negotiations.

Based in our headquarters in Willoughby, Ohio, the position will be part of company’s leadership team, and lead a small team to manage all aspects of accounting and finance across three sites in North America. S/he will provide support for various financial decisions while maintaining strong accounting integrity. This includes interpreting financial information and providing comprehensive analyses to provide decision support to the Company’s senior leadership team. Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the cash flows, general ledger, closing the books, and accounting statutory regulations.
  • Guide financial decisions by closely monitoring financial and accounting affairs, including monthly financial reports and year-end reviews.
  • Execute business performance reporting including but not limited to sales, inventory and cash flow, costs, performance, payroll, financial reporting by function.
  • Lead, develop, implement and monitor annual financial business plan and budget. Provide continual improvement of the budgeting process and work with managers to educate them on financial issues impacting budgets.
  • Effectively develop solutions to financial challenges.
  • Advise, from a financial perspective, on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.
  • Lead the IT function.
  • Lead a small group, providing professional and personal growth opportunities.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; MBA and CPA License preferred.
  • 10 or more years of experience in accounting function required; leadership experience required.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis experience is required.
  • M&A experience is a plus.
  • A deep understanding of Syteline (MRP system) and Concur experience is a plus.
  • Exhibits energy, strong desire to achieve, appropriate dedication level and a high ethical standard.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and contract experience.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 10%.

First-shift opportunity to join a local, fast-growing manufacturer. Candidates must be reliable and have solid manual machining experience with both mills and lathes. Responsible to set up and operate machines, performing simple to complex operations. CNC machining and programming is a plus.
