Process Technology, a leader in the design, innovation, and manufacturing of heating and power supply equipment, is looking for a Multisite Plant Manager to oversee the company’s manufacturing operations in Mentor, Ohio & Amery, Wisconsin. This position will be based in Mentor, Ohio. This is an opportunity to join the team that makes the toughest manufacturing processes thermally possible!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all functions of two manufacturing sites including production, supply chain, quality, and engineering.
  • Implement improvements in production and supply chain to achieve the highest levels of on-time delivery, efficiency, and inventory turns.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the annual operating plan and implementation.
  • Implement a data-driven performance-based infrastructure and culture.
  • Enhance and encourage a lean thought process in manufacturing with a constant focus on continuous improvement.
  • Support and address various safety initiatives and programs.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations and ISO processes.
  • Protect company proprietary and confidential information in accordance with the company’s confidentiality policy.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 5 years-experience as plant manager leading all functions of Operations.
  • Career progression through direct experience in leading production in a quality focused environment.
  • Hands-on problem solver who can drive change and thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management or related technical field.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems required.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work with and effectively communicate with all levels of the Company.

First-shift opportunity to join a local, fast-growing manufacturer. Candidates must be reliable and have solid TIG welding experience. Responsible to perform welds to fabricate metals in an efficient and clean manner. Perform related tasks such as cutting and grinding of material.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld components and material to standard and custom specifications
  • Produce strong welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent
  • Evaluate blueprints, sketches, and related specifications to calculate dimensions independently and accurately
  • Ignite torches and operate power supplies safely and effectively

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers through the New Product Development (NPD) process, from ideation to commercialization at two sites.
  • Initiate new product development by developing cross-functional projects plans and driving these to completion.

  • Drive problem resolution and the critical evaluation of Go/Kill decisions through the Stage Gate process.
