Electric Immersion Heaters, Inline Heaters, Heat Exchangers and Temperature Controls

Process Technology's industrial products include electric immersion heaters, heat exchangers, inline heaters, and temperature control packages. These products are designed specifically for heating and cooling of chemistry in wet process manufacturing environments. Industries served include metal finishing, electroplating, anodizing, printed circuit board, cleaning technologies, pharmaceutical, food, and biomedical. In addition to our standard products, many custom products engineered specifically for your application are available.

Electric Immersion Heaters

Process Technology electric immersion heaters are designed for the demands of corrosive chemical heating. Open tank, screw plug and flange configurations are available. A wide variety of sheath materials ensure long life regardless of the chemistry. Materials include: fluoropolymer, quartz, titanium, 316 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel and plain steel. Sizes as small as 100 watts for laboratory environments and as large as 54,000 watts (flange heater up to 270,000 watts) for industrial applications are available. Many standard configurations are available from stock. Quick lead times are available for custom configured heaters. (Manufacturing lead times can be as short as two or three days.) Heaters are UL, CSA and CE.

Deionized Inline Water Heaters

Excellent for DI spray rinse, precision cleaning and other applications. Electric inline water heaters with all titanium wetted parts. Sizes up to 144 kW.

Tytan Inline Water Heater

Inline Chemical Heaters

The SHB and SHC Series systems are electric inline heaters designed to safely heat process chemistries through indirect contact instead of direct immersion. These heaters deliver superior temperature stability with changes in flow, and offer multiple temperature sensors to ensure safe operation.

For higher wattage applications, the FrontierTM Series electropolished stainless steel inline fluid heater is the optimal choice for solvents and IPA.

Quartz Infrared Radiant Heating Elements

Process Technology's quartz infrared radiant heating elements are designed for use in markets including but not limited to: painting, powder coating, corrosion control, organic finishing, metalworking and automotive metal finishing.

The CE certified quartz infrared heating elements offer a heavy wall quartz sheath in standard 5/8 inch diameter to resist corrosion and chemical vapors, available in sizes 500-4000 watts. 120, 208 and 240 voltages as well as other voltages are available (single phase standard).

Ceramic insulators provide positive electrical insulation.  The elements are used for curing, baking and drying applications and capable of reaching full heat in 40 to 65 seconds.  Watt densities of 50 watts per square inch (8 w/cm2).

Special wattages and lengths are available to fit most ovens/panels.  Also offered in 1/2-inch diameter tubes, three electrical terminal styles, and temperature controls are available to be sized to match the heater.  These elements are intended for horizontal installation only.

The efficiency of these elements offers customers an economical alternative for replacement parts.
