Job Description:

Process Technology, a leader in the design, innovation, and manufacturing of heating equipment, is looking for a Controller to manage the accounting team, the expense process, and act as a key contributor to month-end preparations. Join the team that makes difficult processes thermally possible!
,br> Basic Function: Accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. Responsible for cash management and risk management

Principal Accountabilities:

Management

  • Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
  • Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures

Transactions

  • Ensure Accounts payable and Accounts receivable are processed in a timely manner. Maintain the chart of accounts. Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

Reporting

  • Issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Provide for a system of management cost reports
  • Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations

Compliance

  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Desired Qualifications

The controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.

  • Implement, maintain, and customize Syteline ERP to exceed minimum business requirements
  • Program within an SQL environment (creating views, triggers, stored procedures), as well as using SQL-based queries from within programming languages

  • Manage IT projects centered around the ERP system
  • Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document backend software applications using appropriate editors
  • Perform network and security audits and tests
  • Perform and test routine system backups and restores
  • Identify, recommend, and prioritize new features and applications in conjunction with business leaders and department managers
  • Define software application architecture and overall structure

Process Technology is actively seeking a highly organized and driven Junior Project Manager for immediate employment in Willoughby, Ohio. This position will require being onsite at our headquarters in Willoughby, OH with travel to our Mentor, OH facility as needed for meetings.

As a Jr. Project Manager, you will be focused on managing projects consisting of customized solutions for our top customers. This is a highly visible position working with cross-functional teams including, sales, engineering, product management and quality.

Position Responsibilities (include but not limited to the following):

  • Manage the process for multiple current product modification projects, involving a combination of the following:
    • Organize regular cross-functional team meetings and providing meeting minutes/updates to team and management
      • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams at junior level
      • Within individual's area of responsibility, consistently identifies potential project problems or opportunities in a proactive manner, analyzes the issues using all appropriate resources, develops alternatives and arrives at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate should be extremely organized, goal oriented and a self-starter
  • Ideal candidate should be comfortable managing multiple projects at one time
  • Demonstrable experience with project management – your ability to help guide individuals and teams to solutions and accurately document projects to completion is critical

Process Technology is seeking an energized and reliable Receiving Clerk who will responsible to unload trucks, verify counts and item numbers to the packing slips and purchase orders, enter quantities into the ERP system, deliver incoming materials to correct department, resolve receiving discrepancies, assist with shipping product, and verify information on packing slips, orders and other records.

Requirements:

  • Shipping or receiving experience is preferred but not required.

  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously and 100 pounds occasionally and work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
