Job Description:
We are hiring an HR Information Systems Analyst professional to join our team. This role will be integral in supporting and maintaining the organization’s HRIS applications and modules, as well as run payroll, maintain HR Scorecard, Administer Reward and Recognition programs, and perform analytical projects.

Position reports to; Director - Talent Management

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and deployment of the company’s HRIS system, KRONOS, including payroll, time-keeping, HR, Performance, Talent Acquisition, LOA.
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, (KRONOS) which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Maintains requirements associated with ISO certification for the HR department.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Runs bi-weekly payroll.
  • Participate in cross functional activities to promote organization-wide growth.
  • Protect company proprietary and confidential information in accordance with the company’s confidentiality policy.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product, such as KRONOS.
  • Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least two years of related experience with HR systems required (KRONOS experience highly desirable.)
  • Experience with calculating payroll desirable.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desirable.
  • Project Management certification desirable.

Sourcing Manager - Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Strategic Sourcing Process
    • Generate and implement category management strategies.
    • Estimated historic costs and potential savings based on identified opportunities, expected by category.
    • Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
  2. Implement Strategic Sourcing Opportunities
    • Meet or exceed established performance goals for category savings with requirements for quality, performance and service.
    • Identify and cultivate new supplier relationships and complete strategic and tactical negotiations with selected product suppliers.
    • Support new product introduction, supplier selection, supplier qualification, cost negotiations, supply base optimization, and ensure alignment between supplier and buyers.

    • Vendor Performance Management – SLAs, Long term strategy.

Experience:

  • 5 or more years of experience as a sourcing or procurement manager running a procurement process.
  • Understanding of market dynamics.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical ability, must have a strong command of fundamental analytical techniques, and the ability to accurately draw conclusions and interpret data.
  • Demonstrated contract negotiation experience across a range of services and commodities.
  • Experience with interpreting and drafting contractual terms.
  • Experience with developing and implementing successful cost saving initiatives.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships.
  • Strong problem solving skills, understanding of cost drivers and sound business judgement.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering Supply chain, business administration or similar, MBA a plus in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field.
  • Experience in sourcing goods and services in a manufacturing, technical and engineering environment preferred.

Plans and performs various duties associated with fabrication and welding parts for standard and special heaters. Manages his department in cutting and deburring tubing, drilling, fitting and adjusting of parts, determining appropriate welding process, and testing completed parts against drawings prior to going to assembly. Welds dies and tooling for machine shop and special applications for research and development.

Performs special tasks needed for unique applications and specialty heaters. Trains new employees to insure complete understanding and proficiency of general shop procedures. Performs special assignments as needed, or as directed by Shop Foreman.

Monitors Team Members schedules and assignments. Determines the sufficient and proper materials to use and that equipment is in good working order. Investigates and reports any tool, machine or equipment failure in area of responsibility.

  • Clarifies drawings and job orders.
  • Reviews and analyzes order to determine materials needed.
  • Cuts, deburrs and machines tubing.
  • Welds parts as required using proper methods and equipment.

  • Trains new employees in all areas of department. Assists other welders in daily activities.
  • Helps to solve problems/prevent problems and keeps supervisor advised.
  • Reports production time on job and completes necessary paperwork.

Requirements

  • Requires the ability to read and interpret complex shop orders, drawings and blueprints and the ability to add, subtract and interpret numbers as required in the fabrication of parts.
  • Must have welding training and two to three years experience.
  • Requires the ability to do analytic thinking, make independent judgements, solve problems and make general decisions.
  • Must have dexterity and good hand and eye coordination to complete various welding assignments. Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
